Zinco-220 220 mg

Zinco-220 contains a naturally occurring mineral Zinc. Zinc is important for growth and for the development and health of body tissues. Zinco-220 is used to treat and to prevent Zinc deficiency. Zinco-220 may also be used for purposes not listed in this medication guide.

Use Zinco-220 as directed by your doctor. Check the label on the medicine for exact dosing instructions. 

Take Zinco-220 by mouth with a meal. Avoid taking Zinco-220 at the same time as foods that contain bran, calcium, or phosphorus. They may decrease the amount of Zinc absorbed into the body. If you take eltrombopag, a quinolone antibiotic, or a tetracycline antibiotic, ask your doctor or pharmacist how to take it with Zinco-220. 

If you miss a dose of Zinco-220, take it as soon as possible. If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular dosing schedule. Do not take 2 doses at once. Ask your health care provider any questions you may have about how to use Zinco-220.

All medicines may cause side effects, but many people have no, or minor side effects. Check with your doctor if any of these most COMMON side effects persist or become bothersome: nausea; vomiting. Seek medical attention right away if any of these SEVERE side effects occur: severe allergic reactions (rash; hives; itching; difficulty breathing; tightness in the chest; swelling of the mouth, face, lips, or tongue); severe vomiting; unusual restlessness; very dry mouth, eyes, or skin.
