Ultima-Aromasin is prescribed to treat certain types of breast cancer. It contains the active ingredient Exemestane which decreases the amount of estrogen in the body. This helps to stop or even reverse the growth of tumors.
Ultima-Aromasin is a new generation of drug that blocks enzymes responsible for aromatisation. Exemestane is significantly different from drugs belonging to the class of aromatase inhibitors. Aromasin is a better drug. Familiar aromatase inhibitors have only a temporary efficiency, but Ultima-Aromasin has an irreversible and permanent effect. As a result of the drug are suppressed 85% or more estrogens in the body of the athlete.
Ultima-Aromasin is indicated for the treatment of breast cancer in women. It is only recommended for those women who no longer have their menstrual periods, either naturally (after menopause) or because they have had their ovaries surgically removed. The medicine also reduces the risk of spreading or recurrence of the breast cancer. It is also prescribed by the physician’s when the cancer has not responded or has recurred after treating with other drugs.
Ultima-Aromasin functions by inhibiting aromatase enzyme for the conversion of androgen to estrogen. Androgen is the primary source of estrogen in post menopausal women. The medicine decreases circulating estrogen thereby decreasing spreading of estrogen-sensitive breast cancer.
The recommended dose of the Ultima-Aromasin is 25 mg once daily. The treatment should continue until a progress in the tumor development is clearly seen. The safety of chronic dosing in patients with kidney and liver disease has not been demonstrated. Aromasin should be taken daily after consuming food. It comes in 25 mg tablet for oral administration. Do not discontinue the treatment even if you notice improvement or are feeling well, unless your doctor tells you. Your doctor will be the right person to tell you how long to take Aromasin. If you accidentally take too many Aromasin, contact your doctor or visit your nearest healthcare center immediately.
The side effects of the Ultima-Aromasin are usually mild to moderate. The most commonly experienced side effects are fatigue, hot flushes and arthralgia (joint pain). You can also experience some other side effects such as: dyspepsia, constipation, abdominal pain, increased blood bilrubin, anorexia, vomiting.
